In the winter there is a cross country skiing track nearby and for children there is a toboggan with a lift.The property was formerly a B& B where cooking workshops were given. Therefore the house has a very modern equipped kitchen for any amateur chef.At 4 km. distance is the small town of Bleialf where you find a large supermarket, various shops and some recommended restaurants.The area offers you numerous possibilities for excursions. For Example in Irsental is a large tree climbing adventure park, where you can climbing and clambering around under the supervision, with separate routes/ tracks for every age. Other daytrip destinations are the area Eagle-und Wolf Park, a Eifelzoo and Wildlife and Adventure Park. The picturesque medieval town of Kronenburg is also worth a visit.
